Windsor Lancers announce 11 new recruits to 2013 class.

A recent recruitment push by the Windsor Lancers has resulted in the team adding 11 players to their 2013 recruiting class.

Robert Dundara, Malcolm Tibbetts, Max Fantuz, Jordan Russell, Kwaku Agyeman, Luke Imre, Clark Grace, Linus Kreuzhofen, Lester Ross, Brent Shepherd, and Jordan Silva are the newest additions to the Lancers football program.

ā€œWe are excited about the addition of defensive back Lester Ross, athlete Malcolm Tibbetts as well as linebacker Jordan Russell out of Don Bosco,ā€ commented Lancers Recruiting and Special Teams Coordinator Steve Snyder of the newest recruits.Ā  ā€œClark Grace returns home after being at the University of Michigan as a member of the Wolverines program in 2012.ā€

ā€œRobert Dundara is a local player coming from the Essex Ravens that we really like as well as wide receiver Brent Shepherd from Ajax. We like these latest additions to the 2013 class.ā€

ROBERT DUNDARA:

The defensive back from Windsor, Ontario has joined his hometown CIS team after enjoying a successful career with the Villanova Wildcats of the Windsor and Essex County Secondary Schools Athletic Association (WECSSAA).Ā  For his exceptional play on the field, Robert was named a WECSSAA all-star at the defensive back position in his senior year of high school.Ā  Most recently, Robert suited up for the Essex Ravens of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL).

MALCOLM TIBBETTS:

The athlete from Waterloo, Ontario comes to the Lancers after playing high school football for Cameron Heights Golden Gaels of the Waterloo County Secondary School Athletic Association (WCSSAA).Ā  In the 2012 season with the Golden Gaels, Malcolm was selected to the WCSSAA First All-Star team and was nominated as a finalist of the Doug Shuh Award.

MAX FANTUZ:

The fullback from Chatham, Ontario recently played for the Chatham-Kent Cougars of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC). Moreover, Max suited up for his high school team, the Ursuline College Lancers of the Kent County Secondary School Athletic Association (KCSSAA).

Jordan Russell

JORDAN RUSSELL:

The linebacker from Toronto, Ontario recently completed his high school career with the Don Bosco Eagles of the Toronto District Catholic Athletic Association (TDCAA).Ā  This past fall, he led the Eagles to the Metro Bowl final, where the team lost to eventual champions, the Huron Heights Warriors. Additionally, Jordan has played with the Metro Toronto Wildcats of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL).

Kwaku Agyeman

KWAKU AGYEMAN:

The 5ā€™10, 205 pound linebacker from Toronto, Ontario joins the Lancers after playing for the Don Bosco Eagles of the Toronto District Catholic Athletic Association (TDCAA).Ā  Moreover, Kwaku has previously suited up for both the varsity Metro Toronto Wildcats and the junior varsity Etobicoke Eagles of the Ontario Varsity Football League.Ā  In 2010, he was selected as an OVFL junior varsity all-star. With his commitment to the Lancers, Kwaku joins fellow Wildcats and Eagles teammate Jordan Russell in Windsor.

Luke Imre 1

LUKE IMRE:

The 5ā€™11, 240 pound defensive lineman comes to the Lancers after completing his high school career with the Delhi Raiders of the Norfolk Secondary Schools Athletic Association (NSSAA).Ā  Most recently, Luke suited up for the Hamilton Hurricanes of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC).

Clark Grace

CLARK GRACE:

The 6ā€™3, 228 pound slotback from Windsor, Ontario is coming back home to play football.Ā  Clark transfers over to Lancers from NCAA Division 1 FBS team, the University of Michigan Wolverines.Ā  Previous to playing south of the border, he suited up for his high school team, Lā€™Essor Aigles of the Windsor and Essex County Secondary Schools Athletic Association (WECSSAA).

Linus Kreuzhofen

LINUS KREUZHOFEN:

The wide receiver from Caledon, Ontario recently completed his high school career with Robert F Hall Wolves of the Region of Peel Secondary Schools Athletic Association (ROPSSAA).Ā  Moreover, Linus has suited up with the Orangeville Outlaws.

Lester Ross

LESTER ROSS:

The defensive back from Mississauga, Ontario joins the Lancers after playing high school football for the St. Marcellinus Spirit of the Region of Peel Secondary Schools Athletic Association (ROPSSAA). Lester has also suited up for the Mississauga Warriors of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL).Ā  In 2010, the defensive standout represented his home province as a member of Team Ontario West at the Football Canada Cup tournament in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.

Brent Shepherd

BRENT SHEPHERD:

The wide receiver from Ajax, Ontario completed his high school career with the Pickering Trojans of the Lake Ontario Secondary School Athletic Association (LOSSAA).Ā  Moreover, Brent has played for Ajax-Pickering Dolphins of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL).

JORDAN SILVA:

The linebacker from Kitchener, Ontario joins the Lancers after a successful high school campaign with Sir John A MacDonald Highlanders of the Waterloo County Secondary School Athletic Association (WCSSAA).Ā  For his exceptional play on the field, Jordan was selected as a WCSSAA First Team All-Star two consecutive times (2011 and 2012).
