Many Quebec conference CIS teams as well as NCAA Division 2 Simon Fraser had their intersquad games, featuring a controlled scrimmage type game pitting the offense against the defense with a mixture of special teams, on the weekend. Here are some notes and pictures from those games.

Laval
According to Jean Nadeau with [url]http://www.rougeetormanialeblogue.com/ the Laval Rouge et Or had a successful scrimmage. QB Bruno Prud’homme did not participate but QBs Tristan Gendron and Alex Skinner did. It also sounds like it is going to be a challenge to replace the outstanding kicking of Christopher Milo (Saskatchewan Roughriders).
Concordia
According to Team 990 radio personality Moe Khan (@MoeKhan19) receiver Sanchez Deschamps continued his great play (from East-West bowl) over to the scrimmage. Both offensive and defensive line’s look to have size and depth and CFC blogger extraordinaire Kris Robertson @KRob23 had a huge punt return
McGill
Again with the help of Moe Khan and other sources the McGill Redmen had their scrimmage on Friday and worked on specials and offense and defense. The defense led the way with multiple interceptions. Running Back Sean Murphy was a bright spot for the Offense. “J.C.” Collin was one of 4 quarterbacks to take reps during the game.
Montreal
A ‘tight-lipped’, secured camp is being run by the Montreal Carabins. According to super blogger [url]http://www.allezlesbleus.ca/ the Carabins are without the services of offensive lineman Sebastien Tache this season. Quebec Conference rookie of the year David Menard has been moved to the 3-tech for the moment. Rookie DB Mike Dubuisson, who originally committed to the Calgary Dinos, is in the Carabins camp.
Sherbrooke
Jeremi Doyon-Roch, the Vert et Or prized January recruit, has been leading the first team offense from the onset of camp. This team may have the top linebacking core in the country with the likes of East-West bowl participant Filipe Fonseca Da Silva (6-0 220 Montreal, Que.).
