Laval won out for G Laberge

The Rouge et Or’s 2017 class continues to grow.

Paul Laberge, a guard from Cégep Garneau, will be heading to the capital of Québec after signing with the Laval Rouge et Or.

According to Le Journal de Québec, Laberge’s decision boiled down to either the Laval Rouge et Or or the Montréal Carabins. Laval won out in the end, however, because of the appeal of the university’s agronomy program, which doesn’t exist at Montréal. He will be starting in January. He will be joining the team from Les Élans du Cégep Garneau (RSEQ Division 1). He played high school football with Les Condors de Saint-Jean-Eudes (RSEQ). He is 315lbs.
