Limoilou Titan now part of Carleton flock

Ravens bring in out-of-province commit.

Being bilingual is no easy task, but with the right mindset and commitment, you can perfect another language. That’s what Gabriel Brault, a running back from Cégep Limoilou, is aiming to do after committing to the Carleton Ravens.

Brault said he chose Carleton, “to improve my English and I felt good when I visited.”

He also has some locational connections with Coach J-P Asselin, the team’s offensive coordinator. “Coach J-P Asselin went to the same high school as me,” Brault said. “Also, I think we have the same philosophy and Head Coach Sumarah was very nice.”

The 5’9, 200lbs future Criminology student also plays as a punt returner. He spent three years with the Titans du Cégep Limoilou (Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec Division 1), which is in his hometown of Québec City. In his latest year of Cégep ball, he was named as the offensive MVP for his team. During his last high school season, he was named team MVP and was an Juvéniles AAA division all-star.

With his new school awaiting him, Brault said, “I’m proud to be a Ravens and I’m sure that I made the best decision.”
