β€œI signed with the Huskies because I felt like they gave me the best opportunity to improve and because it’s in my hometown of Saskatoon,” commented Cherry of his decision.

This past season, the defensive tackle recorded 13 sacks playing with the Aden Bowman Bears of the Saskatoon Secondary School Athletic Directorate (SSSAD). Later this month, the #CFC100 recruit will be suiting up for Team Canada in Texas as part of the International Bowl.
