Overall, the offensive lineman could not pass up the opportunity to be instructed by two reputable coaches as well as the chance to realize a childhood dream in the process.

“As for the reasons I chose the University of Saskatchewan, it was a matter of being able to get coached by Coach [Travis] Serke again as well as Coach [Brian] Towriss, two legends for football in Saskatchewan and Canada,” explained Tkatchuk.  “When I was first started to play peewee football, I always thought it would be such an honor and a privilege to be able to be a Huskie but now that dream has come true.”

Tkatchuk comes to the Huskies after completing his high school career with PA St. Mary’s Blues of the Saskatoon Secondary School Athletic Directorate (SSSAD).
