Cochrane slotback joins CWUAA team’s 2016 class.

Erik Nusl felt staying ocal was the best option for him,.

Recently, the 5’11, 165 pound slotback from Cochrane, Alberta signed with the Calgary Dinos. Ā Nusl will join the team for the 2016 CWUAA season.

“I choose to play at the University of Calgary because of the strong program,” expressed Nusl of his decision. Ā “They have a good history of tradition and of developing players.”

“I also wanted to stay close to home.”

The slotback completed his career with the Cochrane Cobras of the Alberta Schools Athletic Association (ASAA) where he amassed 948 yards on 55 receptions, 443 yards on 27 carries and 19 touchdowns in 12 games during the 2015 season. During his time there, the Cobras won consecutive provincial championships (2014, 2015).
