London: TVRA Central award winners Butcher, Guiltinan, Ro


Eric (Sauce) Guiltinan (A.B. Lucas): Bob Gooder Award as the outstanding player in TVRA Central senior football this season. He helped lead the Vikings to their first conference title since 2003 and their first Western Bowl in school history by rushing for more than 2,000 yards and scoring 25 touchdowns over 11 games

Jimmy Ro (A.B. Lucas): Greg Anderson Memorial Award for the graduating player best combining football skills, academics and community involvement

Rupert Butcher (Central): Dr. Jim Allen Memorial Award as the conference’s top lineman. Butcher is the first Golden Ghost to win the Allen award, named in memory of the former Westminster and Western player and Chatham surgeon killed in a 2004 plane crash.

Catholic Central Crusaders won The London Free Press United Way championship, which considers a team’s play during the United Way week of games as well as sportsmanship, execution and quality of opponent.

Medway Cowboys won the Jim Casburn Memorial Award as voted on by the London Football Officials Association as the team best displaying sportsmanship, improvement and achievement.

AB Lucas won the United Way Spirit Award.
