Lynx standout still looking for CIS suitors

Mardochee recalls the first time he was introduced to the game.
βI moved in Hochelaga Maisonneuve and my friend asked me to go to his football game,β reflects Mardochee. Β βI watched him, I didnβt know the rules but I knew this sport was for me.β
Among the teams he has played for include Hochelaga Maissoneuve Archers, Edouard-Montpetit Bouledouges and Sun Youth Hornets.
Recently, he completed his CEGEP career with Division 1 team, Edouard-Montpetit Lynx.
βMy memorable football experience this year was when I caught my first interception in CEGEP,” says Mardochee of his time with the Lynx.Β βI canβt tell you how I was feelings because it was just so great.β
Prior to now, the Lynx defensive back has never really has a training regimen. However, that will change soon.
βI never really trained but Iβll start now because collegial football isnβt a joke,β adds Mardochee.
Throughout his career, the Lynx standout has been fortunate to have several individuals who have been main sources of encouragement and motivation in his quest to achieve his goals on and off of the field.
βMy parents are the most important people in my life,β expresses Mardochee.Β βMy mom keeps telling me that one day I will make it to the NFL.β
βMy dad is more discreet about it but I know he want the best for me like every parent. My friends are important for me they are my motivation; we are from a difficult hood and I want to thank them and my family for moving far from here.Β If I succeed they all succeed. Β I want to take a time to render thanks to every coach whoβs taught me everything that I know now, particularly Nicholas Melsbash.β
As for long-term academic and career aspirations, Mardochee has given some thought as to what he would like to pursue.
βI donβt know what I will be in the future but I think I will work in psychology or be a teacher,β comments the Lynx standout.Β βI thought about it since I was really young.β
While he is open to any CIS options, there is one ultimate gridiron dream Moba would like to realize south of the border.
βLSU would be a dream come true,β offers the Lynx defensive back.Β βI will work hard to get in there.β
βI like LSU because I think they make the best defensive backs there like Tyrann Mathieu, Patrick Peterson, Ryan Clark and I can continue but I will stop there.β
Overall, the game has taught him the recipe for success in all his gridiron and life endeavours.
βFootball has taught me that everything isnβt about talent but efforts, nothing else,β says Mardochee.Β βIf you want to do something, work at it!β
