The Manitoba Bisons continued their 2020 recruitment cycle with a highly touted CFC100 dual-threat player.
Isaac Dokken is a linebacker and running back out of Steinbach Regional Secondary School in Steinbach, MB. He earned CFC100 honours for his play on the defensive side of the ball and should be a feature piece in the Bisons’ future seasons.
The high school senior is a mature person that prides himself on getting the best out of himself and teammates alike.
“I’m a very hard working person who wants to learn more and is the person to ask questions and question the way things are,” said Dokken. “I also see myself as a leader on and off the field, always trying to get the guys to work out and go to class because I know their potential.”
Although the young man doesn’t model his game around any player, in particular, he highlights his aggressiveness as an asset to his playstyle. He appreciates the big in-game moments.
Dokken believes the trust and familiarity with Manitoba’s coaching staff will bring the best out of his game moving forward.
“I’ve known the coaching staff for the past few years because of the provincial team,” said Dokken. “They are the best coaches I’ve met by far, their personality’s and football minds especially.”
