Manitoba Preview (WHSFL): First encounter for CFC#36 Lancers & Clippers

With positioning ever so important in the John Potter Division, CFC TOP 50  ranked Dakota Lancers will host Kelvin Clippers.  The Lancers are 3-1 while the Kelvin Clippers are just two points back with a 2-2 record.  Of interesting note, this game will mark the first time these two teams have met each other – last season,  the Lancers played in this division while the Clippers won the Kas Vidruk Division.

Pivot Sebastien Bel will be one of two key players  on the Clippers to watch for – in Week 3 WHSFL action, he had 20 completions in 29 attempts for 381 passing yards and two touchdowns against Murdoch McKay Clansmen and it garnered him Player of the Week honours.  Bel will be looked upon to jumpstart the Clippers offensive game execution plan against the Lancers. The other player is Week 5 WHSFL Player of the Week defensive back, Nathan Dickson.  In last week’s game, Dickson was in beast mode as he registered 15 tackles in the Clippers loss to St. Paul’s Crusaders.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
