McGill “best fit” for CEGEP recruit (VIDEO)

France kicker/punter joins RSEQ team’s 2016 class

When Loic Legendre was searching for his future CIS home, he was looking for the perfect combination of academics and football.

Consequently, the 6’2, 165 pound kicker from Nevers, France committed to the McGill Redmen.  Legendre will join the team for the 2016 RSEQ season.

“I chose McGill because it’s a great school,” expressed the kicker. “They offer a great program in Physical and Health Education.”

“I will learn English and also have the opportunity to start as a freshman. The football team, players and coaches are young and motivating. That’s why I think McGill is the best fit for me.”

Recently, Legendre played for CEGEP Division 3 team, Chicoutimi Cougars.  Previous to CEGEP, the kicker suited up for France’s Nevers Ducs.
