Prior to the break, Jean-Philippe Hudon committed to the team.Β  The 5’8, 190 pound linebacker from Quebec City, Quebec will join the Redmen for the 2016 season.

With Hudon’s commitment, the Redmen have three #CFC100 recruits.Β  The others are quarterback Frederic Paquette-Perreault and defensive tackle Andrew Seinet-Spaulding.

β€œI am very happy and proud to play for McGill next year,” expressed Hudon of his commitment.

When he stepped onto the campus for his official visit, the linebacker was hooked instantaneously to both the unique academic and football aspects that the school has to offer.

β€œI had a very good feeling when I visited McGill this summer; a feeling similar to the one I had when I visited CNDF,| recalled Hudon.Β  β€œMy feeling about the coaching staff is very great too.”

β€œI love the fact that they are very implicit in what they are doing and they BELIEVE in what they offer .Also, I have a great relationship with Coach [Ron] Hilaire and I know he believes in me. I cannot forget SΓ©bastien Levesque because he does an incredible job to recruit the best in the country. My education is very important for me and McGill is one of the best universities in the world.”

The #CFC100 recruit completed his career this past fall with CEGEP Division 1’s Campus Notre Dame de Foy (CNDF).
