McGill “not difficult” choice to make for CEGEP recruit (VIDEO)

CEGEP offensive lineman joins RSEQ team’s 2016 class.

Samuel Coallier likes the competitive spirit that the McGill Redmen is showing during their rebuilding stages.

Therefore, the 6’0, 280 pound offensive lineman from L’Assomption, Quebec has committed to the RSEQ team for the 2016 RSEQ season.

β€œI chose McGill is because I like the new orientation this team is now taking,” commented Coallier of his commitment.Β  β€œThey want to be competitive and they want to win!”

β€œAlso they have great coaches for each position. They have a plan and I want to be part of this plan!”

Another decisive factor in the offensive lineman’s decision was his education.

β€œAlso the academic aspect was very important for me and McGill is an awesome university, so the choice was not difficult to make,” added Coallier.

This past fall, Coallier completed his CEGEP career with Division 2 team, Lanaudiere Triades. On the offensive line, he plays at the center position.
