McMaster dream comes true for Peterborough recruit

Peterborough defensive back recently joins OUA team’s 2015 class.

Devin Claypole will be a future Marauder.

Recently, the 5’11, 170 pound defensive back from Peterborough, Ontario signed with the McMaster Marauders.  Claypole will join the team for the 2015 OUA season.

With this commitment, it is also a dream realized for Claypole.

“I am committing to McMaster because of the high quality education and the great football program that suits my future goals,” explained Claypole of his decision.  “It has been my dream to attend McMaster for years.”

Claypole has played for Adam Scott Lions of the Central Ontario Secondary School Athletics (COSSA) as well as the Peterborough Wolverines of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL). Not only is he a defensive back (safety), but Claypole has played at the slotback and kicker positions.  He has also played on special teams as a kick returner.
