McMaster lands Peterborough recruit (VIDEO)

Peterborough quarterback joins Yates Cup Champions’ 2015 class.

Dylan Astrom will be embarking on his CIS journey in his home province.

The 6’1, 190 pound pivot from Peterborough, Ontario has signed with McMaster Marauders.  Astrom will join the Yates Cup Champions for the 2015 OUA season.

Overall, the personal approach the Marauders took during the recruitment process weighed heavily on quarterback’s decision to choose the Hamilton, Ontario school.

“I decided to commit to McMaster because it has a great football program with great coaches and players to help improve my own ability,” expressed Astrom.  “The campus is great, the facilities are incredible, and ultimately it is a place I could see myself living for the next five years which is a feeling I didn’t get from any other university.”

“They were interested in me for a few years and invited me to the school for camps and to see games including this year’s past Yates Cup. They were more personal I felt than any other school which made it an easier choice for me.”
