McMaster sense of ‘brotherhood’ appealed to local recruit (VIDEO)

Ancaster defensive lineman opts for Yates Cup Champions

Justin Price will be beginning his CIS career in his own backyard.

Recently, the 6’4, 255 pound defensive lineman from Ancaster, Ontario committed to the McMaster Marauders.  Price will join the Yates Cup Champions for the 2015 OUA season.

“I chose to go to McMaster because it felt most like home to me,” explained Price.  “I had got to know the school through my sister (alumni from McMaster) and knew that it had a lot of opportunities for me.”

“As far as the football program goes, I have to say that it speaks for itself. The coaching staff is next level and I could see the brotherhood that not only the players had with each other, but with the coaches as well.”

Price has previously suited up for both Bishop Tonnos Titans of the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic Athletic Association (HWCAA) and Hamilton Hurricanes of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC).

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
