If you played football at some point in your life and September rolls around, you always get that itch in your soul to hit the field. I’ve gotten it every single year without fail since I last played, which to be honest is a moment I don’t even remember. You hear the cliche all the time, “play every snap like it’s your last”, and a lot of people say they abide by the rule, but reality never sets in until you’ve actually taken off your pads for the last time without any knowledge of the situation.
So with that said, I wanted to make a laundry list of the little moments every player should cherish that may get lost in translation during the daily grind this season.
