I finally understand what getting “triggered” means. I had no warning. I was done dirty by the Steve Dangle Podcast.
Like most Canadians, I’ve been wrapped up in watching the NHL playoffs in my spare time, and although my American based team was eliminated in the first round, I always pull for whatever Canadian team is left standing. Except for the Maple Leafs of course, but thankfully I’ve never had to worry about that in my lifetime, and hopefully never will.
Even with my natural Leaf hatred, I’m still a big fan of Steve Dangle and have watched his reaction videos since high school. I have a lot of respect for his work and can relate to his unwavering support for the cursed franchise, but man did he get under my skin with this one.
