Montreal disappointed & dissatisfied with ruling: Will take advantage of 2nd appeal process

The athletic program of the Montreal Carabins has taken note of the decision by the RSEQ to maintain the sanction for the use of an ineligible player during a game against the Saint Mary’s Huskies September 17th.

The Carabins are disappointed and dissatisfied maintaining the reasons given by the Appeal Committee during the decision-making. They remain convinced of the merits of its position, especially as it considers the disproportionate severity of the penalty based on recent case law.

Following this, the Carabins wish to take advantage of provisions of the RSEQ to continue the appeal process.
