Montreal’s Myles Gibbon to return to line up for South Alabama

GIBBON LIKELY TO RETURN:
Myles Gibbon, South Alabama’s starting quarterback for the first two games, is expected to get back into the mix for the start on Saturday.

Coach Joey Jones said Gibbon has been cleared to practice and will join Brennan Sim, the starter for the Edward Waters game, and freshman C.J. Bennett in challenging for the starting job. Bennett was suspended for the Edward Waters game for a violation of team rules.

Sim has thrown for 285 yards and 4 touchdowns, Gibbon has passed for 132 yards and a touchdown, and Bennett has passed for 96 yards and a touchdown.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
