Tristan is a defensive end for the Humboldt Collegiate Institute Mohawks of the Horizon Central Athletic Association (HCAA). He has been recognized for his play, winning the school’s Junior Football Award as well as the Top Defensive Player Award (2013).
The highlight of the 2013 season for Tristan was a hard fought game against the Melfort Comets.
“That was the best game we played all season, and even though we lost, we were still proud of the outcome,” says Tristan.
While he is still in the early stages of the recruitment process, Mohawks’ standout is leaning towards staying within the province as he has his sights set on both Regina and Saskatchewan.
Tristan credits his parents, as well as his former coach Shaun Gardner as his biggest influences.
This offseason, Tristan’s primary concern is getting bigger and putting on muscle to help him fight in the trenches. His training regimen involves working out as often as possible with the emphasis placed on weight training as well as footwork and cardio.
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
