Mount Allison is a “great opportunity” for Richmond Hill recruit

Richmond Hill LB joins AUS team’s 2016 class.

In the coming months, Brandon De Assuncao will be landing in New Brunswick to commence his CIS career.

The 6’0, 205 pound linebacker from Richmond Hill, Ontario committed to Mount Allison Mounties.  De Assuncao will join the team for the 2016 AUS season.

De Assuncao completed a stint with both King City Lions of the York Region Athletic Association (YRAA) where he registered 28 solo tackles, recorded two solo sacks, caught an interception and had a reception in eight games during the 2015 season to help the Lions win the YRAA Tier 2 Championship

Additionally, the linebacker suited up for York Simcoe Bucs of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL).
