NIagara Falls athlete joins AUS team’s 2016 class.

When it came to choosing his future CIS home, there was no doubt for Ryan Stinson.

Recently, the 6’1, 185 pound athlete from Niagara Falls, Ontario committed to Mount Allison Mounties.  Stinson will join the team for the 2016 AUS season.

“Mount Allison has always been the obvious choice for me,”expressed the athlete of his decision.  “The coaching staff is one of the most intelligent, young and gifted staffs in the country.”

“When I went on my visit there I saw how hard the guys work and the championship mentality in the locker room. I feel like if I want to reach my full potential, Mount Allison is the best program for me. Also the recruiting class coming in this season is the best in the country.”

Among the teams Stinson has suited up for include St. Paul’s Patriots of the Niagara Region High School Athletic Association (NRHSAA) and Niagara Spears of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL).  Furthermore, the athlete participated in the 2015 Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC) as a member of Team West Varsity’s squad.
