Mounties add Guelph recruit

Guelph defensive lineman joins AUS Conference Champions

Will Mulligan has found the perfect combination in his new CIS home.

Recently, the 6’2, 280 pound defensive lineman from Guelph, Ontario signed with the Mount Allison Mounties.  Mulligan will join the AUS Conference Champions for the 2015 season.

“I chose Mount Allison because it had the best mix of both football and academics,” explained Mulligan of his decision.  “It is consistently ranked as the top undergrad university in Canada so the academics are second to none.”

“Also, the football program has had great success and is continuing to improve. When I visited the campus, it was clear that the team is a very tight group that welcomed me and made me feel at home.”

Mulligan completed his high school career with Guelph District 10’s St. James Lions of the Central Western Ontario Secondary School Association (CWOSSA).  Additionally, the defensive lineman suited up for the Guelph Jr Gryphons of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC).
