Mount Allison welcomes their third commit to their 2017 class.
Isaac Humber, an offensive lineman for the Tantramar Regional High School, may not have been born in the Atlantic provinces, but he knows their ways and will continue to call them home after signing with the Mount Allison University Mounties.
Humber is already used to the east coast. Originally from Kingston, Ontario, he has found himself living in Sackville, New Brunswick where he played with the Tantramar Titans (New Brunswick High School Football League).
āI chose to commit to MTA for a few reasons. The first how close the team is to one another not only during the season, but after and it had a real family vibe when I was there,ā he said. āThe other big reason to why I committed was because of the class sizes. They are one of the smallest for a school with a football team.ā

The 6ā1, 270lbs athlete is planning on majoring in psychology and minoring in sociology. He is excited to work with his new coaching staff. He said, āThe coaches at MTA are all driven to win and extremely good at coaching. Also, the coaches all want to help develop you on and off the field.ā
In his 12-years of playing, Humber has spent time in the Ontario Provincial Police Football, the Cumberland Wolfpack, Team New Brunswick and Team Nova Scotia. His high school team has won back-to-back provincial championships. This season, he was named as an offensive all-star.
