Mustangs training camp kicks off Monday

The Western Mustangs defence of the Yates Cup begins this Monday as the purple and white hit the field for Training Camp, which gets started on August 18th at TD Stadium.

Returning players from last year’s Mustangs squad will be joined by a strong 2014 recruiting class to participate in the camp that runs from August 18th until September 5th. This year’s camp is longer than in past years as the team’s bye week falls on the first week of the OUA schedule on Labour Day.

Following training camp the Mustangs head on the road for their season opener against the York Lions on September 6th at 1 p.m.
