Fundy Minor Football kicked-off its fall season at Shamrock Park as the Lancaster Abbies defeated the Simonds Sharks 25-6 in Peewee action. The Abbies got touchdowns from Cameron Dick, Alex Harper, Paddy Currie and an 85 yard kick-off return by Morgan McAllister. The Simonds TD came on a 5 yard run from Chris Grass. Sam Dumochel led the Abbies defensively with 6 tackles. The Abbies led 12-6 at the half.
Meanwhile, in Bantam division action, the West Cowboys defeated the Simonds Longhorns by a score of 19-0. The Cowboys were powered offensively by Touchdowns from Mike Duguay, Chris Freeman & Mike Freeman. Duguay also had a single point conversion.
