1) For those Canadians who do not already know, talk a little bit about how you got to where you are right now.

I started my football career at W.F Herman Secondary in Windsor Ontario. I played four years with the Griffins and attended Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio. I played as a post grad at Reserve and came in contact with Bucknell University. I signed with Bucknell in 2008 and now play for the Blue and Orange Bison. I am now a Junior or third year at Bucknell studying Computer science

2) What is the best thing about playing NCAA Football? What is the most challenging thing?

The best thing about playing NCAA Football is that I am able to play at such a high level of competition. The only higher level would be the NFL. The guys on the team also play a huge role in the experiences that I have encountered.
The most challenging thing would have to be the juggling of football and academics. Time management becomes a top priority when you play a sport of any kind at the University level and it can quit literally make or break you.

3) What is your biggest individual goal for 2010 season? Team goal?

My biggest individual goal would be to get more playing time after coming back from a broken fibula freshman or first year. Just trying to get into the coaches vision!
The team goal is to come back this season with a whole new coaching staff and make something happen.

4) What is something that people should know about you?

Something people should know about me is that I was once the fastest 16 year old in Ontario. That was a very awesome feeling

5) What advice do you have to young football players in Canada?

My advice would be that unless you truly love the sport of football you should consider other options. I say that because it is a huge commitment in a young man’s life and it can easily consume you, but if you stay with it make yourself be seen it is a great feeling when a coach is relying on you to get the job done. Ultimately, work hard and don’t ever let anyone tell you that you can’t play the sport of football because anyone who is willing to learn and work hard can play this sport.
