CFC100 Class 2024 LB Keyari James made it official with Maryland on NCAA Early Signing Day.

The Calgary, AB native is ranked 17th on the CFC100 Class of 2024 Rankings, and began his high school career playing at CFC50 St. Francis in Alberta before transferring to Clearwater Academy in Florida to complete his eligibility.

The 6’1″, 235lbs linebacker entertained 11 offers during his recruiting journey including Arkansas State, Charlotte, Rhode Island, Richmond and Austin Peay, but he couldn’t pass up his only opportunity to play Power 5 football with the Terps.
James is the first Canadian to announce his commitment to Maryland on Signing Day since CFC began tracking data in 2010.
