The 6’4″, 230lbs tight end used his flashy versatility to collect 13 offers on the recruiting trail including UMass, Maryland, Arkansas State, Charlotte, Florida Atlantic and Tulane.

Martin is the latest acquisition of a UMass program that has been grinding every cycle to develop a Canadian pipeline since getting promoted to the FBS. They don’t currently have any Canadians on the roster, but have found recent Signing Day success with signatures from CFC100 OL Phil Jeffs, CFC60s Arnold Mbembe, LB Darren Kyeremeh and Samuel Emilus. The latter now suits up for the Saskatchewan Roughriders after completing his collegiate career at LA Tech and getting selected 7th overall in the 2022 CFL Draft, while Jeffs currently plays at Western, and Mbembe plays at NCAA DII program Lincoln University.
