CFC100 Class 2024 DT Louis Gendron made it official with Southeastern Louisiana on NCAA Early Signing Day.

The Leis, QC native is ranked 53rd on the CFC100 Class of 2024 Rankings, and began his high school career at College de Levis in Quebec before transferring to Clearwater Academy to complete his eligibility.

The 6’6″, 280lbs defensive tackle received his only offer from Southeastern Louisiana, but all it takes is one program to believe in your abilities to excel at the next level, and it will always provide some extra motivation to prove every other school in the nation wrong.
Gendron joins CFC100 DE Isaac Adeyemi-Berglund as the only other Canadian to commit to Southeastern Louisiana on National Signing Day since CFC began tracking every commit in 2010. It’s not a bad path to follow with Adeyemi-Berglund getting selecting 3rd overall in the 2020 CFL Draft by the Calgary Stampeders, and has since tallied 52 tackles and 14 sacks during his three year career in Cowtown.
