CFC100 Class 2024 WR Dallas Sims made it official with Minnesota on NCAA Early Signing Day.

The Winnipeg, MB native is ranked 8th on the CFC100 Class of 2024 Rankings, and began his high school career playing at CFC50 Dakota in Manitoba before transferring to Clearwater Academy in Florida to complete his eligibility.

The 6’2″, 195lbs wide receiver had plenty of suitors on the recruiting trail with 18 offers including Power 5 programs Boston College, Indiana, Iowa State, Pittsburgh and Purdue.
Sims is the fifth Canadian to commit to the Gophers on National Signing Day since CFC began tracking data back in 2010. He will have familiar company on campus joining fellow Winnipeg native CFC100 DB Rhyland Kelly in Minnesota, who participated in the inaugural 2019 CFC Prospect Game on TSN.Β
