The Porters Lake, NS native is ranked 9th on the CFC100 Class of 2024 Rankings, and played for the Dartmouth Destroyers before attending Auburn Drive in Nova Scotia. He then decided to take his talents down south transferring to the Hill School in Pennsylvania for his sophomore season, and ultimately completed his eligibility at Clearwater Academy in Florida.

Hinds was first discovered by the CFC Scouting Bureau when he wowed the scouts in attendance with his natural abilities at the CFC100 Combine in Halifax when he was still in grade nine. Despite his limited history on the gridiron at that point in his life, you could instantly tell he was destined for stardom.

Hinds is the first Canadian to announce his commitment to Florida Atlantic on Signing Day since CFC began tracking data in 2010.
