NCAFA (Ottawa Minor): Week 5 report


TYKE (Under 11)
Jared Valentino had 3 tackles and a blocked a punt, Sebastien Vienneau recovered a fumble and had 4 tackles, Eithan Hards had 3 tackles. Kanata beat Gatineau 6-0.

East Ottawa’s Thomas Graham scored his first TD in a 33-6 loss to West Carleton.

Raiders’ Dante Blizzard and Michael Slack teamed up for a TD, Alex Ferguson’s punt in the final seconds earned them a 7-6 win over Bell.

MOSQUITO (Under 13)
Samson Dube threw 2, ran for 2, and converted 2, while Isaac Maglorie scored his first. Jayden Charboneau and Steven Groves lead the ‘D’. Generals 40, West Carleton 6.

In their first of 2, Evan Wilson, Dylan Lachance, Cesar Beceril, and Michael Kraeker helped Kanata blank Nepean 28-0. In game 2, QB Tyler Rehman got support from o-linemen Garrett Krik and Carter Poulin, but lost to Gatineau 34-0.

Matheran Ravishankar had 3 catches in a 42-8 loss to the Giants. Redskins’ Dalton Diceman and Garrett East each recovered fumbles.

PEE WEE (Under 15)
QB Michael O’Connor found Quinton Soares for a 64 yard opening play TD. Graham McArthur, Rashari-Somerville Henry, Keena Pierre and Cody Barry all had TD’s. Orleans 48 Bel-Air 0.

Myers Riders QB Ryan Kiely lead the way shutting out Cornwall 29-0.

East Ottawa scored their first points, and first win, downing West Carleton 26-9. Arnold Kassongo scored all 4 TD’s.

Kenan Tanti had 45 yards rushing, Liam Mellor had 33 in Kanata’s 19-0 loss to Nepean. In their 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] game of the week, Mellor, Tanti, Jake Hamm, Liam Dubois and Joey McKiernan ran for 206 yards, losing to Gatineau 22-0.

Gloucester South remain undefeated coming from behind to beat Bell 29-28. Demitri Vaillancourt had 3 TD’s, including one to himself on a fake punt.

Ben Noor scores twice as the Redskins get past The Giants 34-0.

BANTAM (Under 17)
Multiple TD’s from Kory Morgan, Damon Barlow and Rouben Charles. Myers blanks Bel Air 56-0 Wednesday. On Sunday, Juston Bulter scored on an interception. Riders 40, Cornwall 0.

Chad Oullette had TD’s on a 65 yard return and a 50 yard pass. Zach Benson kicked 4 converts. Generals 28, West Carleton 7.

Mitch Graham, Harrison da Costa and Joey Belanger combined for 15 tackles and a sack. Kanata 51, Mustangs 0.

Seb Poitras was in on 4 TD’s. Matt Woodstock, “CJ” Fagan, and Peter Hunter all had interceptions. Raiders defeat Bell 35-21.
MIDGET (Under 20)
Nicolas Rasiulis rushed for 247 yards and 2 TD’s. Orleans 29, Colts 0.

Ryan McNamee and McKenzie Tommy rushed for 300+ yards. Redskins get by Canterbury 33-7.
