NCAFA (Ottawa): Weekly recap – Kobe Armstrong with 7 TD’s for the Bengals


TYKE

Madison Mclean connected with Noah Bascelli for 50 yards on the opening play for Myers. Natale Frangione had a 40 yard TD. Brodie O’Connell and Stefanos Mellios each had key tackles.

Fabrice Mukendi (5) and Markaedyn Nelson (4) had TD’s in Cumberland’s win.

Haven Holder, Jahmil Anderson, Tyson Cunning, and Cameron York each scored for the Redskins in their Thanksgiving Monday win.

Shawn Lukusa and William Lemus-Coto each had a pair of TD’s. Felix Cardinal Tremblay and Matteo Peloso were strong on defense for the Lions.

MOSQUITO

Myers’ Cameron Wiers had 4 TD’s (plus extra points). Nick Ashfield scored a TD off an interception.

Joel Briere (4), Jacob Ritchie (1), and Jackson Dunning (1) all scored for The Redskins in their 5th straight win.

Ryan Davies-Maitland, Kwaj Jok, and Na-Na Yaw Serbeh led Bel Air’s offence. Alex Joanisse and Jaxsen Brown helped preserve the shutout.

A record setting game for Kobe Armstrong with 7 TD’s for The Bengals! Katley Joseph had 3. QB Tevin Johnson threw for another and ran for one. Cody Romain had 8 converts.

PEE WEE

Danny Obiang, Daniel Ebron, and Darius Beckford all had TD’s for the Raiders. QB Drew Garby was solid. Mostafa Kari was key on defense.

Devon Gall (1), Nick Brunet (1), Mason Thorpe (1), Paul Bede and Ralim Brooks (fumble recoveries) scored for the Giants. Brandon Lair had 2 interceptions.

Carter Wilson (100+ yrd rushing, 1 TD, 300+ yrds passing, 4 TD’s), Willy Ruddy (15-+ yrds receiving, 3 TD’s), Austin Martin (40 yrds rushing, 75 receiving, 1 TD) for West Carleton. Noah Potter had a fumble recovery.

Bel Air’s Chris Vena and Ben Spencer allowed the running game to shine. Aidan Magee and Alex Childs were standouts on defence.

BANTAM

Hadi Besmar (3 TD’s including 90 yard run), Terrick Valcin (1), Josh Bonner (1) scored for The Raiders. Daniel Bitar had a FG and 5 converts. Dimitri Vaillancourt and Gary Lindo each had interceptions.

Jeager Prot (100 yards rushing and a TD), Jason Tuepah (100+ yrds rushing, 2 TD’s) and Landon Laasenba (8 tackles) lead the way for West Carleton.

Bel Air’s Chris Stephens had a late interception for a TD. Brendan Lesaux connected with Ian Perry several times. Bell’s Kiell Barrie (2), Stefano Nepolitano (1) and Will Vail (50 yrd INT) had TD’s. Filip Buljan scored a 2 point safety.

In Sunday’s game, Bell’s Nate McCausland (2), Tyler Scott (1), Stefano Napolitano (1) had TD’s. Hadden Rabb had 5 receptions for 130 yards and a 2 point convert.

MIDGET

Colts’ Ismael Charbel (200 yrds rushing), Alex Johnny (INT for TD) and Simon MeGhaizel (fumble recovery) in a win over the Norsemen.
