The 2013 Nelson Lords will kick-off their season by hosting the Lorne Park Spartans for an exhibition contest to conclude the first week of the school year on Friday September 6th, 2013 at Nelson Stadium. Kick off is 7:00pm
The Spartans will travel to Nelson Stadium one week after suiting up in the USA vs. the Dover High School Tornadoes in Dover Ohio.
The Lords and Spartans have held joint preseason practice three times in the past (1999, 2007, 2008) but have never met in a regular game.
Both schools have rich football traditions and it promises to be a very exciting night under the lights.
