Kingston wide receiver signs with OUA team.

Harris Mceachern will be beginning his CIS career in the Nation’s Capital.

Recently, the 5’11, 170 pound wide receiver from Kingston, Ontario signed with the Ottawa Gee-Gees for the 2014 OUA season.

“The reasons on going to Ottawa are the tradition that the school has as well as the atmosphere it brings,” explained Mceachern of his signing.

Mceachern comes to the Gee-Gees after completing his high school career with Regiopolis Notre-Dame Panthers of the Kingston Area Secondary School Athletic Association (KASSAA).  In addition to the Panthers, the wide receiver has also suited up for the Kingston Grenadiers of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL).   Not only is he a wide receiver, but Mceachern has also played at the slotback position and on special teams as a kick return specialist.
