Whistler defensive standout signs with RSEQ team.
Dustin Lander is moving provinces to commence his CIS career.
Recently, the 6’3, 205 pound tight end/linebacker (outside) from Whistler, British Columbia committed to the Bishop’s Gaiters for the 2014 RSEQ season.
“I chose the school because of the great atmosphere the players and coaching staff gave me,” explained Lander of his decision. “They team played very well in one of the toughest conferences in Canada, and I believe this is the most fitting team to develop me further.”
Lander comes to the Gaiters after playing football for the Pemberton Grizzlies. This past season, the defensive standout scored 12 touchdowns. During his time with the team, Lander was named Offensive MVP of the Year.
