NFC: Gauthier leads Steelers to victory over Raiders & becomes 2nd all-time leading NFC scorer

Josh Gauthier took a handoff 95 yards up the middle for a touchdown on the Sault’s first possession of the game. In the process he piled up 125 yards on seven carries and earned his 5th ‘August Kangro’ memorial leading scorer award in six years. With his 84 points, Gauthier moves into 2nd place on the Top 25 Career Scoring list, just 16 points behind Jon Nedeljkovic.

Quarterback Darrell Wood threw five touchdowns to four different receivers. Wood completed 11-of-15 passes for 196 yards.

Matt Buchan, Mike Magli and Jesse Hill all scored touchdowns.

Matt Santos was perfect hitting six extra points and also added one single in the game.
