North Delta Longhorns win first championship of BCFC Tier 2 league

North Delta Longhorns are the first to win the championship in the first BCFC Tier 2 league.

The North Delta Longhorns won every game leading up to the championship title game which took place Monday night, May 28th vs. Richmond Raiders.

The Longhorns defeated the Raiders by a score of 23 to 3. Head Coach of the Longhorns Mike Ettinger said in a public broadcast on May 27th, a day before the title game, that the reason for the team’s success was because they had a “great group of kids and a great group of coaches”. Despite the fact that this was the first year for this group, Mike looked for local players with experience when placing the team together and so he believes they “got that and it all game together pretty good.”
