Nova Scotia preview & prediction: Finals set for Sunday


The Citadel Phoenix face the Sir John A. MacDonald Flames in a Sunday matinee (1 p.m.) at Huskies Stadium to determine the Nova Scotia high school champions.

Sir John A. finished the 2010 campaign with a 6-2 record, with one of those losses coming at the hands of Citadel. Citadel finished with a perfect 8-0 record.

In the team’s only matchup, Citadel defeated the Flames 42-14 in the Flames’ season opener on Sept. 20. It was the Phoenix’s second game of the season.

Tier 2 final:
Cobequid Cougars vs. Dartmouth Spartans, Sunday afternoon, 2 p.m., at the Burnside turf.
