Football Nova Scotia announces provincial under-16 Men’s and under-18 Women’s Flag team rosters
Lantz, N.S. β The rosters for the under-18 Womenβs Provincial Flag Team and under-16 Menβs Provincial Flag Team have been selected.
The two teams of 12 will be narrowed down to eight players on each, who will be named as the travel teams. Both teams will be representing Nova Scotia at the 2013 Football Canada National Flag Football Championships in Regina, Saskatchewan from July 25 β 28, 2013.
In the past three years Nova Scotia has had great success, receiving a medal each year. In 2012 the under-16 womenβs received silver; the under-18 men received bronze. In 2011 the under-18 men won the championship while the under-18 womenβs team won bronze. During the 2010 Championships Nova Scotiaβs Senior Menβs Team won the championship, under-18 men won bronze, and under-18 women also won bronze.
