NSSAFFL Announces Major Awards Winners and All-Star Selections

The Nova Scotia Student Athletic Federation Football League (NSSAFFL) has announced the major award winners, and all-star team selections for this season.

Citadel Phoenix wide receiver A’dre Fraser was the head of the class in the NSSAFFL Nova Division as he earned three awards. Fraser was named League MVP, Top Special Teams Player and also named on the first all-star offensive team. Horton Griffins defensive end/full back Adam Melanson was named the League MVP was named to the first team all-star offensive and defensive team in the Scotia Division.

In the Nova Division, the Phoenix led all schools by collecting five major awards and eight players received first all-star team honours. The Charles P Allen Cheetahs received two major awards and six first team all-star selections.

As for the Scotia Division, the Cobequid Education Centre Cougars were honoured with three major awards and five players received first all-star team honours. The Sir John A MacDonald Flames won two major awards while fielding six players on the first team all-stars.
