OFC: Bantam Thunderbirds fly away from Stallions

The Forest City Thunderbirds game 6 had them head to Barrie to visit the Huronia Stallions. In the first quarter the Stallions came charging out of the starters gate to score the first touchdown of the game. The Thunderbirds followed closely after with their first touchdown of the game, and everyone knew this may be an interesting game.

An Interception by Grayson Hurd gave the Thunderbirds a turnover which the very next play turned into a Braeden Sinclair touchdown. The Thunderbirds Defensive line made their share of sacks and continued to show the Stallions that their work was cut out for them trying to get through their line. But the heat of the day showed it was bothersome and affecting both teams as they both had their share of fumbles and turnovers.

Both teams fought the good fight, but in the end the Forest City Thunderbirds won their first ever game on Stallion soil, and flew home with a 41-26 win, leaving the Stallions to graze in their field.

Next game: Forest City Thunderbirds will re-visit Chatham Cougars on their field for their second game of the season.
