The Peterborough bantam Wolverines football team were handed their first defeat on Sunday (June 12), losing 20-14 to the Huronia Stallions in Barrie.
Patrick Pearson and Donnie LaFonte scored aa touchdown each for the Wolverines, while Max Murphy accounted for a two-point safety. Cole Bartholomew led the Wolverines on defense with 14 tackles, while Ezra Santocono and Murphy had an interception each.
The Wolverines resume Ontario Football Conference regular season action on Saturday (June 19) when they take their 3-1 record to Burlington.
