Offensive:Β Β #5 Kyle Johnston – QB – Hamilton Hurricanes

9 of 18 for 290 yards and 5 TD
Kyle Johnston, 3rd Year QB led the Hurricanes to a big win over the Windsor AKO Fratmen in a rematch of the 2011 OFC Final. The Police Foundations student at Mohawk College was 9 of 18 for 290 yards, with 5 touchdowns and a pass efficiency of 180.3 on the day. Kyle will try to lead the Hurricanes to their fifth consecutive victory, when they travel to play the St. Leonard Cougars on Saturday evening at 7:00pm at Stade Hebert in Montreal.

Defensive:Β Β #39 Ryan Dalley – DB – Hamilton Hurricanes

1 tackle, 4 interceptions, 1 INT for a TD, 20 def. points
Ryan Dalley, 4th Year DB help lead a defense that had 7 interceptions on the day. The Beamsville SS grad led the way with 4 of them, including 1 returned for a touchdown. Throw in a solo tackle, and the former Bucaneers DB ended up with 20 defensive points. Dalley and his Hurricane teammates will invade Stade Hebert in Montreal to play the St. Leonard Cougars this Saturday at 7:00pm.

Special Teams:Β Β #13 Dan Colella – K – Windsor AKO Fratmen

P: 7 for 318 yards, 45.4 avg., K/O: 3 for 183 yards, 61.0 avg, 1 S, 1-1 PAT
Dan Colella, 2nd Year K out of Holy Names HS in Windsor had a terrific game kicking the football in a loss to the Hamilton Hurricanes. The former Knight had 7 punts for 318 yards (45.4 avg.), 3 kick-offs for 183 yards (61.0 avg.) and a single, and was 1 for 1 on PAT’s. Dan and his AKO Fratmen teammates will look to get back on the winning ways when they host the Burlington Braves on Saturday at 7:00pm at Windsor Stadium.
