Offensive: #8 Christian Hackney – QB – Windsor AKO Fratmen

11 of 18 for 257 yards, 5 TD, in a 54-14 victory over the London Beefeaters Christian Hackney, 2nd Year, QB out of Sandwich SS in La Salle, had another career day completing 11 of 18 passes for 257 yards and 5 touchdowns, helping raise his league leading pass efficiency to 123. The former Sabre completed passes to 5 different receivers, including touchdown strikes to Derrick Hurst, James Drew, Joel Archer, and 2 to Beau Lumley.

Christian will help lead the Fratmen on Saturday in the 1st place showdown with the Hamilton Hurricanes. Game time is set for 1pm at Alumni Field in Windsor.


Defensive: #46 Sydney Odum – OLB – Twin Cities Predators

7 solo tackles, 1 sack, 1 pass defended, 21 points, in a 23-17 loss to the Burlington Braves.
Sydney Odum, a 22 year old, OLB from Dunbarton HS in Pickering, had a tremendous defensive performance in a losing effort versus the Burlington Braves. The former Spartan, had 9 total tackles including 7 solos, a sack, a pass knock down on his way to 21 defensive points. Sydney and the Predators will look to end the season on a winning note when they play host to the Brampton Bears. Game time is set for 7pm at Knight-Newbrough Field in Waterloo.

Special Teams: #13 Dan Colella – Kicker – Windsor AKO Fratmen

10 K/Os for 565 yards, 6 PAT’s, 1 FG, 3 singles, in a 54-14 victory over the London Beefeaters
Dan Colella, 1st Year, Kicker out of Holy Names HS in Windsor, has been honored for the 2nd straight week. The former Knight and St. Clair College grad was perfect on 6 PAT’s, had a 34 yard FG, and added three singles, including two on kick-offs that traveled out the end zone. Dan kicked off 10 times averaging 56.5 and punted 5 times for 39 yards. Colella has now recorded a league-leading 67 points on 10 field goals, 8 singles, and 29 converts. Dan and the Fratmen play the undefeated Hamilton Hurricanes in a 1st place showdown at 1pm at Alumni Field in Windsor.
