Offensive: #23 Manuel Crisi Lauzon – RB – St. Leonard Cougars

18 carries for 150 yards, 2 TD’s, in a 35-15 victory over the Burlington Braves Manuel Crisi Lauzon, 1st Year, RB, carried the load for the Cougars with 150 yards on 18 carries and 2 touchdowns.

Manuel amassed 174 all-purpose yards as well as 1 solo tackle. Manuel has now gained 435 yards rushing on 61 carries and 4 touchdowns for the 4 and 2 Cougars. Crisi Lauzon and his Cougar teammates travel to Ottawa to play the Sooners on Saturday. Game-time is set for 5pm at Keith Harris Stadium.


Defensive: #5 J.A. Erroa – LB – St. Leonard Cougars

4 Tackles, 1 QB Sack, 1 Blocked Kick, 1 Forced Fumble, 1 Fumble Recovery, 19 Total Defensive Points, in 35-15 victory over the Burlington Braves J.A. Erroa, 2nd Year, LB, was a force for the Cougars defense all night long. Erroa had 4 tackles and a QB sack, to go along with a blocked kick, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery for 19 defensive points. Erroa will help lead the
Cougars defense in their quest to clinch a play-offs spot when they travel to Ottawa to face the Sooners. Kickoff at Keith Harris Stadium is 5pm.

Special Teams: #13 Dan Colella – Kicker – Windsor AKO Fratmen

7 Kick-offs for 340 yards, 5-5 on PAT’s, 2 singles, in a 41-0 victory over the Brampton Bears
Dan Colella, 1st Year, Kicker out of Holy Names HS in Windsor, led the AKO Fratmen in scoring with 7 points on Saturday in Brampton. The former Knight and St. Clair College grad was perfect on 5 PAT’s and added two singles, including one on kick-off that traveled out the back of the end zone (85 yard K/O). Colella has now recorded 39 points on 6 field goals, 5 singles, and 16 converts. Dan and the Fratmen play the London Beefeaters in a home and home series
Tuesday at 8pm in London and Saturday at 1pm in Windsor at Windsor Stadium.
