There are over one hundred thousand high school football players in Canada every year, and precious few get a chance to take their talents to the U Sports or NCAA level. The opportunity to play university football can be absolutely life-changing, not just as an athletic endeavor but an academic and personal one as well. While university recruiting programs do everything they can to find all the best athletes across the country, some extremely talented young men will inevitably slip through the cracks. This is why every week I will personally take a deep dive into a class of 2024 high school football player who has the talent, grades and character to not only make it to the next level, but to thrive.
